Sports

College athletics are a major part of the Georgia Tech experience. Whether you’re a ‘sports person’ or not, there’s something to be said for the camaraderie and tradition. Here’s how you can get into the games without breaking the bank!

Football:

Season tickets come in two varieties. For $49, you can get into all home games, and for $69, your ticket puts you in the SWARM section in the north end zone. If you like the extra social perks, pick SWARM, but if you just want to watch the game (and potentially get closer to the field), the south will be just fine.

Free tickets are available to many sports including football. The tickets usually become available starting a week before the game and are available until all the tickets are claimed. The process to claim a ticket is to go to the following link:

If it is your first time, you will need to create an account within the system. You can then from the main screen follow the button to a page that allows you to register your free ticket. You will also receive an email that gives you the link when they first become available each week. Once you have filled out the form, the ticket is accredited to your buzzcard. On game day, you then appear at gate 10 (closest to the North Ave dining hall) and have them scan your buzzcard. You will then sit at the south end zone, and seating is open within that area. If there are extra tickets, they are sold for $15 and you can bring a single guest if you purchase one.

Men’s Basketball:

Tickets are available to approximately the first 900 students who enter the game with valid BuzzCards. No prior sign-up/registration is needed.

  • If the student section reaches capacity, but more seats are available in non-student sections, students will be able to get seats in those sections.

  • All students must enter McCamish Pavilion through the WEST entrance (on Fowler street by the Tennis Complex).

  • Courtside seats available to the first 200 GT students who wish to sit there.

Other sports teams all have free seating to students with BuzzCards.
